ColourPop x Disney Designer Collection (so this is DEFINITELY love)
What happens when one of your favourite makeup brands collaborates with...well...your livelihood? You buy the whole lot of course! Ok we all know this girl's trying to pay her way through school, so I had to pick and choose my favourites.
Let's start with the basics. ColourPop is a fairly new brand (5+ years old) from California, and most of their products are vegan, while all of their products are cruelty free. Can I get a heck yes?! I've been a loyal customer of theirs for over two years now, and their products never disappoint. They follow all the right trends, while keeping their own level of uniqueness along the way.
Towards the end of September (2018), the company announced a very exciting collaboration alongside Disney. The line of items included everything from a full eyeshadow palette, adorable glosses, to glamorous "Lux" lipsticks names after iconic Disney Princesses. As soon as the collection launched, I grabbed a few things that I knew I'd get a lot of use out of. I was able to get my hands on the "It's a Princess Thing" eyeshadow palette, and two of the Lux Lipsticks in the shades "Snow White" and "Ariel".
My favourite product of the 3 I ordered is hands down the eyeshadow palette. There's so many different looks in it, and they're all very wearable with a soft touch of glam. The quality of the shadows, as always, is amazing. ColourPop eyeshadows are one of the most pigmented and blend-able I've used. As for the Lux Lipsticks, I'm incredibly impressed with the colour payoff and wear power. I hadn't had the chance to try their new lipstick formula until now, and they are lovely. The shade "Ariel" comes off as a warm peach, while "Snow White" is the perfect red. For a red lipstick that isn't transfer-proof, it's impressive. "Snow White" doesn't bleed or wear off easily at all.
**The photos below are unfiltered images of me with some of the products on my face (sans "Snow White")**

Until next time!
